Day 1 Perth Capetown IFM
Relax and enjoy your home pick-up by private car. Transfer to the airport to meet your fellow passengers and board your flight to Africa. On arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel.

Day 2 Cape Town Sights B / L
After a leisurely breakfast we enjoy a City Tour, Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch Gardens. We will enjoy a beautiful lunch at the gardens. This tour also includes the Castle of Good Hope, South African Museum and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (South Africa’s most visited attraction).
Day 3 Cape Town B / L
Enjoy a full day tour of Cape Point and the Peninsular. This tour is an unforgettable journey to the wonderful meeting place of the two great oceans, breathtaking scenic beauty contrasts with the harsh rugged conditions of the most south-westerly edge of the African Continent.
Day 4 Cape Winelands Tour B / L
Travel through the spectacular mountain scenery and lush fertile valleys of the Cape. Taste a mixture of fascinating history and allow yourself to indulge in the pleasures of the renowned Cape Winelands. This tour includes historical wine estates with 2 wine tasting sessions, historical Stellenbosch and lunch.
Day 5 Cape Town Makutsi B / D
This morning after breakfast we will transfer to the airport for our onward flight to Hoedspruit via Johannesburg.
On arrival we will be met and transferred to our camp. Settle in before enjoying dinner in the traditional open air “Lapa”.
SAFARI LODGE:MAKUTSI SAFARI SPRINGS FOR 7 NIGHTS
Day 6 Game Drive B / D
Before breakfast our ranger will take us for a morning game drive in an open Land Rover. After breakfast you have free time until lunch. Early afternoon depart for a game drive in search of rhinos, crocodiles, elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and the various nocturnal animals. Light snacks and sundowner drinks will be enjoyed during this outing.
Day 7 Kruger National Park B / D
Depart early morning for a full day’s game viewing in the world famous Kruger National Park. Breakfast is served in one of the many rest areas. Then more game exploration until lunchtime where you stop at one of the camps located in the park. In the afternoon experience more exciting game viewing until returning to Makutsi for dinner.
Day 8 Drakensberg Mountains B / D
After breakfast we depart for a day of exciting and beautiful sightseeing of the Drakensburg Mountains and Blyde River Canyon. Stops will be made along the way to take photographs and to marvel at the awesome scenery. On this day you have excellent opportunities to purchase some ‘curios’ to take home.
Day 9 Local Village Visit B / D
This morning we visit nearby Shangaan and Sotho Villages and learn about traditional culture and the way life has been sustained for ages. After a bush picnic we walk through indigenous rainforest to the springs of the Makutsi River.
Day 10 Makutsi B / D
Today you can choose from a morning or evening game drive in the reserve and have the rest of the day free to enjoy the springs and nature at leisure.
Day 11 Makutsi Free Day
B / D
Today is a free day to enjoy the surroundings at the Makutsi Safari Springs Lodge. Take a swim, relax at the Lapa or you may even like to do the optional Cheetah Encounter (additional cost).
Day 12 Makutsi Johannesburg B
This morning we farewell our friends at Makutsi and fly to Johannesburg for our overnight stay at the Emperor's Palace. Our hotel is located inside the complex where there is also a casino and food outlets.

Day 13 Johannesburg Victoria Falls B / D
This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival we transfer to the safari lodge which includes breakfast, dinner, a sunset cruise and a guided tour of the falls. Please note that some National Park fees apply during our stay and are payable on location. A visa is required for Zimbabwe at a cost of USD30 for Australian passport holder’s payable on arrival.

Today you have a day at leisure to enjoy the falls and the many other adventure activities Victoria Falls has to offer such as the Elephant Back Safari, Scenic flight over the falls and Lion Encounter.
Day 16 Victoria Falls Perth B / IFM
This morning we transfer to the airport to begin our journey home. On arrival in Perth your driver will be waiting to transfer you home.
