DaY 1 -Perth MELBOURNE IFM / D

Relax and enjoy your home pick up by private car. Transfer to the airport to meet your fellow travellers and board your flight to Melbourne. On arrival we transfer to our hotel. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner with the group at a nearby restaurant.

DAY 2 - CITY SIGHTS B

After breakfast we depart on a city sights tour to discover the charm of Melbourne. See Captain Cook’s Cottage, Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Gardens and Albert Park, home to the Australian Grand Prix. Stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens; see the Royal Exhibition Buildings and Federation Square. Visit the Shrine of Remembrance and the Southbank waterfront precinct. We end the tour with a visit to the Eureka Tower which offers fantastic views of the city. Tonight is a free evening to explore Melbourne on your own.

DAY 3 - EASTER SUNDAY IN THE YARRA VALLEY B / L

Journey into the heart of the picturesque Victorian wine country to the Yarra Valley. Relax as you sample superb regional wines and take in stunning views of the vineyard. Lunch today is at Fergusson’s Winery followed by a tasting at Dominique Portet Winery. Enjoy a winemaking tour of the highly regarded Domaine Chandon, maker of one of Australia’s best sparkling wines and sip a glass of wine and enjoy local cheeses on the patio at Greenpoint Room. Tonight dinner is at your own leisure. There are plenty of eateries on your door-step to choose from.

DAY 4 - DANDENONG RANGES AND PUFFING BILLY B / D

This morning we head to the Dandenong Ranges which dominate Melbourne’s eastern horizon. The Ranges promise picturesque forests, cool fern gullies and charming villages. We board the historic Puffing Billy at Belgrave for our journey to Menzies Creek. On to the ancient Sherbrooke Forest to hand feed the colourful birds and walk amongst the giant ash trees. Enjoy delicious home made Devonshire Tea – hot scones with jam and cream and your choice of tea and coffee. Visit the quaint town of Sassafras renowned for beautiful antiques and local crafts and enjoy some free time to wonder. We return to the hotel to freshen up before we board the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant for our farewell dinner.

DAY 5 - MELBOURNE PERTHB / IFM

Say farewell to Melbourne and board your flight home to Perth. Upon arrival, your friendly driver will be waiting to take you safely home, concluding a great short stay in Melbourne.
