Following the outstanding success of The Edinburgh Military Tattoo - A Salute to Australia in 2005 attended by over 150,000 people, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo returns to the Sydney Football Stadium in February 2010 to celebrate its 60th anniversary year. With over 1,500 performers from around the world, including Massed Pipes and Drums, Highland Dancers and the stirring Lone Piper, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is set to be the biggest tattoo ever to be staged. The new show will be titled The Edinburgh Military Tattoo – Celebrating 60 years of Valour, Mateship, Glory.
DaY 1 - PERTH to SYDNEY

Relax and enjoy our home pick-up service by private car. Transfer to the airport to meet your fellow travellers and board the flight to Sydney. On arrival we will transfer to our central hotel with time to settle in prior to enjoying a Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

DaY 2 - BLUE MOUNTAINS

Enjoy today in and around the Blue Mountains. First stop is Echo Point for a spectacular view. We stop in the garden village of Leura for morning tea. See Katoomba waterfall and the Three Sisters rock formation. There is time to purchase lunch before floating in the air on the recently unveiled Skyway with its electro-scenic glass floor or stroll along the walkway through the rainforest. The skyrail ticket is included in the tour price. On the way back to Sydney, see Homebush Bay, home of the 2000 Olympic Games.
DaY 3 - MORNING CRUISE/EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO

This morning we enjoy morning tea on board the MV Sydney 2000 on Sydney Harbour. This cruise shows you what public and private Sydney are really all about. You will see the main attractions such as the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison before cruising the magnificent upper reaches of Middle Harbour where palatial waterfront homes, parks, beaches and marinas show Sydney life at its best. The cruise includes a light morning tea to enjoy while you are on the water. Enjoy free time after the morning cruise. You can either transfer back to the hotel or stay in the area with free time and make your own way back to the hotel. Tonight we will meet in the foyer of the hotel to transfer to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. With over 1,500 performers from around the world, including Massed Pipes and Drums, Highland Dancers and the stirring Lone Piper, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is set to be the biggest tattoo ever to be staged. The tickets included are the Platinum tickets, located on the upper level, at the front, bay 21 for great viewing. After the show you will be transferred back to the hotel.
DaY 4 - SOUTH COAST

After breakfast we travel south of Sydney to Wollongong, the state’s third largest city. We drive along the Sea Cliff Bridge, used in many ‘new car’ ads then admire the panoramic views from the top of Bald Hill Lookout. We continue to Kiama to see the blowhole before stopping for lunch at Crooked River Winery. Crooked River Winery Restaurant is a family owned and operated restaurant. It offers magnificent food with views of the ocean, lush mountain ranges and spectacular vineyards - reputed to be the best from any winery in Australia. We return to Sydney with time to freshen up before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.
DaY 5 - SYDNEY TO PERTH

Mid afternoon we will transfer to the airport for the flight home. On arrival your driver will be waiting to transfer you home.
