DAY 1 & 2: PERTH TO MADRIDIFMD
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by private vehicle and transferred to the airport. Meet your fellow passengers and Kings Tour Manager and board your overnight flight to Madrid. Upon arrival in Madrid, we will transfer to our hotel. Relax or explore this lively city before enjoying an evening drive to take in some of the city's main sights followed by a Welcome Reception.

DAY 3: TOLEDO EXCURSION & MADRID SIGHTSB
This morning your Local Specialist takes you on a walking tour of Toledo. Watch craftsmen at work when you visit a traditional steel factory and gain a Cultural Insight into this historical craft. Visit the Church of Santo Tomé, home to one of El Greco's most famous paintings – The Burial of Count Orgaz. Visit the synagogue during your guided walk through the narrow streets. Return to Madrid to admire the monument to Cervantes at the Plaza de España and see Puerta del Sol, the city's hub with your Local Specialist.
DAY 4: MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Travel southwards from Madrid, through La Mancha, to Córdoba. Visit the Mosque of the Caliphs and learn about the influence of the Moors from your Local Specialist.

DAY 5: SEVILLE SIGHTS & FREE TIMEB D
Meet your Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour of Seville. View the Giralda Bell Tower. See the tiled fountains, pavilions and lush palms in the Maria Luisa Park, renowned for its landscape design and walk through the imposing Plaza de España. Marvel at Christopher Columbus' ornate tomb in the cathedral. Finally take a walk through the former Jewish Quarter. This evening experience a unique Be My Guest dinner at an authentic ranch with views over the Andalusian countryside
DAY 6: SEVILLE – GRANADAB
Visit the magnificent Alhambra Palace in Granada with a Local Specialist. A fine example of Moorish architecture, it was built during the 14th century towards the end of Islamic rule in Spain. Walk through the exotic water gardens of the Generalife, the royal Summer Palace, once linked to the Alhambra by a covered walkway across the ravine.

DAY 7: GRANADA – GUADIX – VALENCIAB D
This morning travel via the Mora Pass and arrive in Guadix in the northern foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains where you can take pictures of the troglodyte dwellings. In Valencia view the Bullring and admire the architecture of the medieval cathedral and the Serrano and Quart Towers. Stop to view the City of Arts and Sciences which is a large-scale urban recreation centre for culture and science and designed by Santiago Calatrava. This complex is also featured in the George Clooney movie 'Tomorrowland'. Dine tonight at your hotel.

DAY 8: VALENCIA – PENISCOLA – BARCELONA SIGHTSB
Head north along the coast through the Levant region and stop at Peñiscola to view the ancient castle of the ‘Spanish Pope', used in the film El Cid. Continue along the Costa Dorada to Barcelona, Spain's most cosmopolitan city. See Gaudi's architecture at the inspiring Sagrada Família. Walk Las Ramblas and visit Plaça Catalunya. View the monument to Christopher Columbus and enjoy panoramic views from Montjuïc during your guided sightseeing tour of the city with a Local Specialist. Tonight consider visiting a Catalan-style restaurant for a delicious dinner of local specialities.

DAY 10: BARCELONA - EMBARK CRUISE / BRILLIANCE OF THE SEASB D
This morning we will transfer to the cruise terminal to board the Brilliance of The Seas. Spend the next 12 nights on board cruising to many wonderful cities.

Rome has been the focal point for many of the world's greatest artists, architects, rulers and philosophers. See Michelangelo’s masterly ceiling, the famous Swiss Guards in the Vatican and the Imperial splendours of the Colosseum. Climb the Spanish steps. And don’t forget to throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain to guarantee your return to this sublime city.
DAY 14: BRILLIANCE OF THE SEAS / AMALFI COAST (SALERNO), ITALYB L D
Inhabited since antiquity, Salerno found its place as a Roman colony in 197 B.C. After the fall of Rome, a who's who of European kingdoms conquered the city including the Goths, the Byzantines and the Lombards. It's easy to see why. The warm Mediterranean sun and rolling hillsides beckon with new adventures and pinch-me-I must-be-dreaming experiences.

Breathe in the romance and Italian exuberance of this spellbinding city. Explore its mysterious and watery streets. From the Gothic arches of the Doges Palace to the intricate façade of St. Marks Cathedral, a day in Venice is bound to enchant you.

Zadar is blessed with beautiful natural surroundings. The city faces an Adriatic archipelago that is one of the best sailing areas in the world. With its mild winters and warm summer, Zadar offers inhabitants and visitors an excellent environment for work and leisure.
DAY 19: BRILLIANCE OF THE SEAS / KOTOR, MONTENEGRO*B L D
Located along one of Montenegro's most beautiful bays is Kotor, a city of traders and famous sailors, with many stories to tell. The Old City of Kotor is a well preserved urbanisation typical of the Middle-Ages. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor a UNESCO listed “World Natural and Historical Heritage Site".
DAY 20 & 21: BRILLIANCE OF THE SEAS / AT SEAB L D
Enjoy the facilities on-board the cruise for the next 2 days before arriving in Barcelona.
DAY 22 & 23: DISEMBARK IN BARCELONA / FLY BARCELONA - PERTHIFMB
This morning we disembark the cruise and transfer to Barcelona airport for our flight home to Perth. Upon arrival in Perth your driver will be waiting to take you home.
Think of Spain and straight away you envisage fabulous architecture, flamenco dancers, bull fighters, paella and maybe even Rafael Nadal – or is that just me!? Starting in Madrid, you’ll encounter passionate local specialists along the way that will bring Spain alive for you.
