A Note from the Managing Director
I have been a part of Kings Tours since I was 10 years old. That was when my parents started the business. Back then, it was called Kings Coach Tours. They started off operating day tours and long weekenders before extending up north of Western Australia. As the years went on, the tours expanded over east and the business became Kings Coach Tours and Travel. My Dad was the driver and Mum was the Tour Manager. I remember them getting the tours ready and I remember Dad cleaning the coach after the tours returned home. They really did build the business from the ground up and put their hearts and souls in to it. In the 90’s the tours expanding overseas and as the Australian and Overseas tours took off, they reduced the number of tours within WA. Kings then became what it is known as today as Kings Tours & Travel. Because it’s not just tours, it’s cruises, hotel stays and a combination of the two.
In 2010, my husband and I bought the business off my Dad and we have strengthened its brand and continued the legacy. I have now been in the travel industry for 25 years and I joined Kings 15 years ago.
I am passionate about organising travel and making it possible for our clients. Every time we travel, we grow. I know that might sound corny, but it is true. We learn about other places, people, traditions, cultures and we experience something different every time. We make friends, we have experiences and we come home with many stories.
