Day 1 & 2: PERTH TO CAPE TOWNIFM
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by a private vehicle and transferred to the airport. Meet your Kings Tour Manager and fellow travellers and then fly to Cape Town via Johannesburg. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Portswood Hotel. Welcome to Africa!

Day 3: CAPE TOWN SIGHTSEEINGB L
After breakfast explore South Africa’s exciting ‘Mother City’ on this guided tour of the historical and cultural sights of Cape Town. Included in your tour and if weather permits you will take a trip to the top of the world, high above the clouds on the famous Table Mountain. After our tour we enjoy lunch in Kirstenbosch before returning to the hotel where the remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure
Day 4: CAPE PENINSULAB L
A trip to Cape Town is not complete without taking in the spectacular views of the Cape Peninsula and Cape Point themes. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through Hout Bay. Then head along Chapman’s Peak Drive on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Lunch will be enjoyed at Seaforth Restaurant, with a late afternoon tour to the Jackass Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach. Return to the hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5: CAPE WINELANDSB L
Today we enjoy the day in the beautiful Cape Winelands region. Our tour heads to the country’s principal wine routes of Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek – all of them with fascinating histories and their unique offerings. Traversing stunning landscapes, this full-day experience stops along the way for wine tasting at prestigious estates. South Africa is known for its quality white, reds, blends, and bubbles!
Day 6: CAPE TOWN/ DAY AT LEISUREB D
Day 7: CAPE TOWN TO MAKUTSI SAFARI LODGEB D
Today we fly direct to Hoedspruit airport and transfer to Makutsi Safari Lodge. For the next six days you will revel in a true African experience.

Day 8: MAKUTSI SAFARI LODGEB D
Before breakfast today your ranger will take you on a morning game drive in an open Land Rover. Most of the African wildlife can be encountered here. After breakfast you deserve a rest and time to enjoy the Makutsi Springs. Early in the afternoon, depart for another game drive before returning for dinner.
Day 9: KRUGER NATIONAL PARKB D
You will depart for a full day's game viewing in the world famous Kruger National Park. The early hours of the day are used for finding as much game as possible. Your guide will take a picnic style breakfast along, and a stop is made at one of the many rest areas. After breakfast, you are off for more game exploration until lunchtime, when you stop at one of the camps inside the Kruger National Park.
After lunch (own expense), you will be off again for more exciting game viewing.
Day 10: SIMBA SAFARIB D
After breakfast, the rest of your morning will be at your leisure. In the early afternoon, you will depart for a game trip. Around sunset, light snacks and drinks will be enjoyed during a short Sundowner break. After snacks, you will continue your safari in search of the various nocturnal animals.
Day 11: DRAKENSBERG MOUNTAINS & BLYDE CANYONB D
After breakfast depart for a day of sightseeing in the breathtaking Drakensberg Mountains and Blyde River Canyon. Several stops are made along the way, including the Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels Viewpoint overlooking the Blyde Dam. Changes to the itinerary can be made subject to weather conditions. A lunch stop will be made (own expense) before returning to Makutsi.
Day 12: MAKUTSI SAFARI LODGEB D
Enjoy a game drive in an open Land Rover on the Makutsi Game Reserve, either early morning or in the afternoon. For the remainder of the day, you can enjoy relaxing in the pools, reading on your terrace, or visiting the Hippo Hide.
Day 13: MAKUTSI SAFARI LODGE TO VICTORIA FALLSB
This morning we transfer to Nelspruit airport for our flight to Livingstone. Upon arrival into Livingstone we will cross the Zambian/Zimbabwe border and make our way to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.

Day 14: VICTORIA FALLSB
After breakfast depart on a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls and encompassing nature reserves which is an awe-inspiring experience. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders), tons of water plunge over a chasm that is nearly 2km wide falling just more than 100m to the Zambezi River below. The shower of spray and the thunderous sound of the water can be heard from miles around. The tour takes you to the best view points of this iconic waterfall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, allowing you to soak up the powerful and enigmatic atmosphere of Victoria Falls. Your afternoon will be at leisure.
Day 15: CHOBE NATIONAL PARKB L D
Today enjoy a full day excursion to Chobe National Park comprising of a Cruise on the Chobe River and a Game Drive in the world famous Chobe National Park. Only an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, the Chobe National Park in Botswana is home to one of the largest game concentrations in Africa. Bordered by the banks of the breath-taking Chobe River, it is famous for its rich elephant and lion population. Tonight we enjoy a fun filled African dinner experience at The Boma to complete our wonderful African experience.
Day 16 & 17: VICTORIA FALLS TO PERTHIFMB
This morning we will check out of our hotel and fly to Johannesburg. Enjoy a complimentary Lounge in Johannesburg Airport as we await our flight back to Perth. Upon arrival in Perth, your driver will be waiting to take you home.
