DAY 1: PERTH TO ADELAIDEIFMD
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by a private vehicle and transferred to the airport. Fly to Adelaide and upon arrival transfer to our centrally located hotel. Tonight enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 2: ADELAIDE – EMBARK THE PS. MURRAY PRINCESSB L D
The morning begins with a brief city tour before travelling to Gumeracha to visit the "Rocking Horse" and Toy Factory where we will also enjoy lunch. Mid-afternoon the PS Murray Princess departs historic Mannum. Head downriver while enjoying pre-dinner drinks and a Welcome Dinner. As we cruise under floodlight to our overnight mooring at Mundurra, you may see nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank. Watch for kangaroos, hairy-nosed wombats, tortoises, egrets and many other species. Our on-board entertainer provides music for the night owls.

DAY 3: MURRAY BRIDGEB L D
In 1879 the first bridge to span the Murray River was built at Edwards Crossing, which quickly became the bustling township of Murray Bridge. After a hearty breakfast, we have a guided tour of the town’s historic landmarks and local attractions or go on a wildlife tour at Monarto Zoo (additional cost). Those who chose to experience Monarto Zoo will arrive back onboard the Murray Princess in time for lunch. We continue cruising upriver with a brief stop-over in Mannum for a fascinating visit to Mannum Dock Museum. This afternoon, as we continuing cruising upriver to our overnight mooring at Salt Bush Flat; you will have the opportunity to inspect the wheelhouse with the Captain. After dinner, enjoy being entertained by our talented crew.
DAY 4: MAZE OF THE RIVER MURRAYB L D
All ashore for the guided nature walk where our guide will share the secrets of the local flora and fauna. It’s a great way to get in a little exercise before the PS Murray Princess departs for the big
river gorges and 90 metre cliffs of the upper river. Mid-morning, join us in the Sturt Dining Room for a special presentation on the bounty of food and wine produced in the riverlands. Just after Fromms Landing, we turn and head downriver to River View Lodge (near Piggy Flat / Coolcha) where our discovery vessel awaits for a wildlife tour. Travelling in small, personalised groups, we explore the maze of the river and the birdlife is amazing. Watch for darters, herons and egrets feeding along the
river’s muddy edges. The afternoon offers a choice of bocce or fishing challenges before joining the Captain and Officers for pre-dinner drinks and the Captain’s Dinner and Dance.
DAY 5: MANNUM / HAHNDORF / KANGAROO ISLANDB L D
We head back to Mannum and after breakfast, we reluctantly say farewell as we arrive at the Mannum Wharf. From here we head to the home and studio of the world renowned artist Hans Heysen. He settled in Hahndorf in 1908 and built his studio, “The Cedars” in the style of a Bavarian Chalet. We will enjoy a guided tour of the house, the studio (which has been kept just the way Hans Heysen left it, including some unfinished sketches) and the extensive gardens. We stop for lunch at the Hahndorf Inn and before enjoying some wine tasting at a popular winery. After our day of exploring Hahndorf we will transfer to catch the Ferry to Kangaroo Island. Upon arrival to our hotel we will settle in before enjoying dinner.

DAY 6: SEAL BAY | EMU RIDGE EUCALYPTUS DISTILLERY | CLIFFORD’S HONEY FARM | KINGSCOTE WHARFB L D
After breakfast we take a drive to Seal Bay for stunning views of the neighbouring coastline and take a stroll with your guide through a wild colony of Australian sea lions. Next we head off to see a bird of prey show, it is an amazing and inspiring experience where birds are flown to display their individual flight and hunting characteristics. Ee visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you will learn about the history of the oil distillery and take a guided tour and a delicious BBQ Lunch, plus there is time to buy some of the eucalyptus products and souvenirs. After a delicious lunch we visit Clifford’s Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings. Our last stop for today before enjoying dinner at the hotel is at the Kingscote Wharf, The Pelican Man provides you with an entertaining and informative talk about the pelicans and other sea birds, while encouraging their participation with fish treats. Learn about their life cycle and watch the spectacle as these large and primitive birds gather for their free meal.
DAY 7: FLINDERS CHASE NATIONAL PARK | STOKES BAY | NORTH COASTB L D
Today we travel through Flinders Chase National Park enjoying breathtaking views of Yacca Flat and coastal scenery on your way to the spectacular Remarkable Rocks. Take a walk around these huge rocks, which have been carved into many different weird and wonderful shapes by the wind and the ocean spray over many centuries. Drive past the ruins of an early settlement at Weirs Cove before going on to the Cape du Couedic Lighthouse built in 1906, and the natural land bridge that is “Admirals Arch”. Look out for the Long-nosed Fur Seals frolicking in the water and on the rocks under the arch.
Today lunch will be enjoyed at Flinders Chase Visitor’s Centre followed by free time to explore the Visitors Centre and perhaps buys some souvenirs from your trip to KI. Early afternoon before catching the ferry back to Adelaide we visit Stokes Bay and North Coast.

DAY 8: FREE DAY / BOARD THE INDIAN PACIFICB D
Enjoy today how you wish, on this day we have also arranged late check out so you have your room all day in case you just wanted to use the hotels facilities and relax. Early evening transfer to the National Wine Centre to enjoy dinner before transferring to Adelaide Parklands Terminal to board the Indian Pacific.
Train: Indian Pacific for 2 nights
DAY 9: INDIAN PACIFIC, NULLABORB L D
This morning awake to the magical sunrise spilling over the Nullarbor Plain. Tonight you will stop over in Rawlinna, a remote town in Western Australia. Hop off the train for an outback lamb roast under the glistening stars. Admire the open skies above the Nullarbor before turning in for your last night of this magical journey.
DAY 10: ARRIVE IN TO PERTH | TRANSFER HOMEB
After breakfast the Indian Pacific pulls in to the Perth Railway Terminal and upon disembarkation, your driver will be waiting to take you home safely.
Cruise the waters of the River Murray on-board the authentic paddle wheeler the PS Murray Princess. Discover Kangaroo Island, with breathtaking landscapes and fascinating wildlife then board the Indian Pacific and enjoy the landscape revealing hidden secrets, from long abandoned homesteads of the Nullarbor to the marvellously resilient wildflowers of Western Australia.
