Day 1 & 2: PERTH TO DUBROVNIKIFM
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from your home by a private vehicle and transferred to Perth International airport. Meet your fellow travellers and Kings Tour Manager, then fly to Croatia. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik (Day 2), we transfer to our hotel. Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful UNESCO-listed cities in the world and it is brimming with marbled streets, imposing medieval architecture and a host of awe-inspiring defensive walls, churches and palaces. Settle in and perhaps take a stroll around the iconic city walls with stunning views of the Adriatic prior to enjoying a Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: DUBROVNIK/EMBARK CRUISEB D
You will enjoy a morning at leisure to explore Dubrovnik. Take a stroll down Stradun, the widest and longest street in the Old Town and admire Onofrio’s Fountain, alternatively, you may simply wish to relax at the hotel. We transfer to the ship early afternoon before enjoying a guided tour of historic Dubrovnik in the afternoon. You will visit the stunning Sponza and Rector’s Palace. After admiring the classic Renaissance architecture, we take the cable car from the Old Town to the top of Mount Srđ. From this mountain vantage point you can enjoy spectacular scenic views of the ancient city walls and the Elaphiti Islands. Return to the ship to relax in your luxury cabin before the evening welcome meet and greet cocktail reception on board. Overnight in Dubrovnik onboard the ship.

Day 4: DUBROVNIK TO STONB L
We departure after breakfast to the charming village of Slano, situated on the mainland. Relax and enjoy the stunning scenery, as we cruise around Dubrovnik’s city walls before heading in the direction of the Elaphiti islands for a swim stop. This afternoon we arrive in Slano. The traditional fisherman’s village was once fortified and is famous for its oysters. From Slano we head towards Ston, to explore the town’s medieval ramparts and coastal beauty. You will also visit an oyster farm and sample this popular delicacy.
Day 5: STON - MLJET NATIONAL PARKB L
Cruise to the tranquil Mljet National Park. After breakfast we head further north to the Island of Mljet. Join our cruise manager for a gentle stroll across the Mljet National Park, where you can explore the famous salt lakes and then enjoy a boat ride to St Mary’s Isle. The isle is situated in the centre of the largest Salt Lake and boasts an ancient Benedictine monastery, and an old abbey and Church that dates back to the 12th century. Alternatively, you can hire bicycles, scooters or kayaks to discover other parts of the stunning National Park.
Day 6: KORCULAB L
We set sail towards the charming island of Korčula, which is known as the birthplace of the famous world explorer Marco Polo. Lunch is in one of the beautiful secluded bays enroute. We then join the guided walking tour of this delightful medieval town. The quaint streets of Korcula’s Old Town are designed to replicate a fishbone, in order to reduce the effects of wind and sun and provide shelter. Korčula has plenty of lively restaurants where you can enjoy an authentic Croatian gourmet experience. There is also an optional excursion to another small village near Korčula for typical Dalmatian dining.
Day 7: VISB L
We continue on to the peaceful island of Vis, famed in recent years as the settling of Mama Mia 2. The island was once a strategic Yugoslav naval base, and due to its secluded and isolated position it has a unique charm. Vis town, situated on the northern side of the island, is situated near to the remains of the ancient urban centre of Issa. You are welcome to sample some of the exquisite local wines made in one of the traditional wineries. There is also plenty of time to visit the remains of the City museum or to take a scenic walk along the waterfront and sample the local delicacies.
Day 8: HVARB L
Cruise towards the island of Biševo, visiting the famous Blue cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. We continue towards the jet-set island of Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic Sea, known for its fragrant lavender fields and breathtaking beauty. We take a fascinating tour of the town, visiting the Renaissance cathedral, with its original tower, and the oldest community theatre in Europe. We will also have the opportunity to enjoy spectacular ocean views of the Pakleni islands after hiking up to the town fort, which overlooks the charming harbour. In the evening you can enjoy Hvar’s lively entertainment scene. Enroute stop for a tour of the Blue Cave. Upon arrival in Hvar, we enjoy a guided tour of Hvar Town.
Day 9: BRAC & SPLITB L D
We sail on to majestic Brač island with a swim stop at the famous Zlatni Rat beach (Golden Cape), near Bol. The quaint typical fisherman’s village of Bol has become a popular tourist destination for island hopping visitors. We continue towards Split to enjoy a guided tour of the historical city. You will discover an abundance of Roman architecture, including the magnificent and famous Diocletian Palace, which was once inhabited by the Roman emperor. Return to the ship for the farewell Captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board.
Day 10: PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARKB
We disembark the ship and transfer to Plitvice Lakes. We will check in to our charming hotel before going off to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty. It is Mother Nature’s phenomenon and is known as Croatia’s Lake District – a natural wonderland of enchanting lakes that cascade into one another via a series of waterfalls that emerge from cracks in eroded rocks and from beneath thick vegetation. Take to the walkways that wind around and across the water or catch the boat that links the 12 upper and 4 lower lakes.

Day 11: PLITVICE LAKES - OPATIJAB D
After breakfast we will travel to the town of Opatija; the charming coastal town with its rich history and culture and impressive monuments, well-manicured parks and glamorous villas. Opatija is the matriarch of Croatian tourism – famed for enticing celebrities from all over Europe during the belle époque. Visit the Croatian Walk of Fame and the small harbour known locally as Portić and the famous statue of the Girl with the Seagull. Walk a part of the famous ‘Lungomare’ promenade, which was originally constructed over 100 years ago stretching in total for 12 kilometres. Admire the magnificent villas and hotels all around the town boasting a classical beauty that has easily weathered the ravages of time. A delicious dinner has been arranged in a local restaurant.

Day 12: OPATIJAB
Today we enjoy a private tour of the Istria region through the mesmerising countryside with traditional villages that will overwhelm you with their beauty. You will visit the charming Kozlovic Winery which is hidden in a secret valley and has been founded on the family tradition of four generations of the Kozlovic family. There will be an inspiring guided tour of the wine cellar with a full explanation of the wine production process, as well as a tasting of these delicious Istrian wines. You will also explore the delightful hilltop medieval fortified village of Motovun with its vibrant ambience and maze of cobbled streets full local of arts and crafts. You will also experience the medieval fishing port of Rovinj with its cobbled streets and lofty steeple that dominates the skyline. This is a day where you will experience the ‘real’ Istria.
Day 13: OPATIJA – ZAGREBB
This morning we transfer to the capital, fascinating Zagreb. After checking into the hotel, you will have plenty of time to admire everything about this intriguing European capital city – from culture, arts and music through to architecture, impressive gastronomy and a thriving nightlife scene. The city is indeed quite small when compared to other capitals throughout Europe, though it’s packed with so much to do that one would never notice. We have arranged for an afternoon guided tour of the major sites of Zagreb to show you the city where you will stroll amongst the city’s classicist and secessionist facades, green parks and ornate promenades. During the evening, sample the delicious local cuisine in one of the atmospheric restaurants or simply soak up the atmosphere of the vibrant street life.

Day 14: ZAGREBB D
Today we enjoy a day of leisure in Zagreb, the hub of the country’s cultural and economic infrastructure, where you can satisfy your inner culture-vulture, and visit one of the many museums, galleries or theatres. Take a funicular to Gornji Grad, the medieval part of the city containing grand museums, galleries and St Mark’s church, with its stunning tile roof. As you meander through the cobbled streets, you will step back into Zagreb’s rich and diverse history. Do some retail-therapy and sample the bustling city centre full of independent boutiques as well as designer stores and shop for souvenirs to take back home as a reminder of your unforgettable holiday. Tonight we will enjoy a tasty farewell dinner to mark the end of a fabulous trip.
Day 15 & 16: ZAGREB TO PERTHIFMB
Today we transfer to airport for flight home after a very memorable cruise and tour of Croatia. On arrival in Perth your driver will be waiting to take you safely home.
