Day 1 & 2: PERTH TO MADRIDIFMD
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by a private vehicle and transferred to the airport. Meet your fellow travellers and Kings Tour Manager then fly to Madrid. Upon arrival into Madrid you will have the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight dinner will be at a local restaurant.

Day 3: MADRID SIGHTSEEINGB D
Today you will have a half day sightseeing tour to enjoy the most important building and monuments of Madrid. The afternoon is left free to visit
the Royal Palace or a number of museums to choose from. Tonight join the group for a Flamenco show and dinner.
Day 4: TOLEDOB L
After breakfast we depart on a full day tour of Toledo including lunch. Toledo is the heart and soul of Spain. This monumental ancient city is a captivating UNESCO World Heritage Site. Behind its daunting medieval walls are some of most important historical landmarks in the country. Magnificent old stone buildings and quiet cobblestone streets whisper the legacy of the past. Wander the atmospheric narrow lanes, relax in quiet
courtyards, and visit artisan shops tucked away in little alleys. Toledo is known for its traditional crafts however the most famous art works of Toledo are the masterpieces by El Greco displayed throughout the city's churches.
Day 5: SEGOVIA TO BURGOSB D
This morning we have an early departure for our morning visit to the beautiful town of Segovia. We will visit the Alcazar, the royal castle of
Segovia, Cabildo Catedral de Segovia the last great Gothic church in Spain and the Roman Aqueduct built at the end of the 1st centuary AD by the
Romans. You will have some time to purchase lunch (own expense). After lunch we will continue onto Burgos for our overnight stay. Burgos’s most recognizable landmark is the French Gothic Cathedral of St. Mary which is one of Spain’s glittering jewels of religious architecture. Tonight we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6: BURGOS TO LA RIJOAB D
After breakfast we join our local guide of a tour of Burgos including a visit to the Cathedral. After our tour we depart Burgos and head to the
La Rioja wine area where we enjoy a special overnight stay at the Paradore de Santo de La Calzada. Dinner tonight will be at the Parador.
Hotel: Parador de Santo Domingo de la Calzada for 2 nights
The hotel occupies a former 12th century hospital near the cathedral, erected by St. Dominic to take in pilgrims traveling on the Way of St.
James. It has a regal, elegant style and a lobby filled with Gothic arches and wood coffered ceilings.
Day 7: LA RIJOAB L
Today we embark on a full day tour of the La Rioja wine region visiting the main town in this area, Logrono. The highlight of the day is lunch and wine tasting at the famous winery Margues de Riscal in the town of El Ciego. This evening is at your leisure.
Day 8: BILBOA TO SAN SEBASTIANB D
Mid-morning we depart for Bilbao and visit the city’s impressive Guggenheim museum followed by free time for lunch and walk through the city. In the late afternoon we set off and drive along the stunning coast to San Sebastian, a resort town on the Bay of Biscay in Spain’s mountainous
Basque Country. Tonight dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 9: SAN SEBASTIANB D
Today has been left free for you to explore the many sights of San Sebastian at your leisure or take the time to relax. In the early evening we will take a drive to Monte Igueldo to see the magnificent view over the city. Dinner tonight will be at a special Tapas restaurant.
Day 10: SAN SEBASTIAN VIA PAMPLONA TO ZARAGOZAB D
This morning we depart for the town of Pamplona, known for the legendary festival of Sanfermines or ‘Running of the Bulls’. This charming historic town is still partly surrounded by its medieval walls and is filled with architectural gems like its Gothic cathedral, the 16th-century citadel,
and a Baroque town hall. After checking in to the hotel we have a guided tour of the cathedral.

Day 11: ZARAGOZA TO BARCELONAB D
Today we board the train and enjoy the 3.5 hour journey from Zaragoza to Barcelona. Upon arrival in Barcelona we’ll be transferred to our hotel where you will have the remainder of the day to settle in. Dinner tonight will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 12: BARCELONA SIGHTSEEINGB L
Your morning begins with a tour of the famous Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch we’ll embark on a city tour passing by Gaudi’s House, Montunjic.
Day 13: BARCELONA / EMBARK CRUISEB L D
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day before we are transferred to the cruise terminal to board the Norwegian Epic for our 7-night cruise.

This morning your cruise comes to an end when the ship docks in Barcelona. We will disembark the ship and transfer to Barcelona Airport and begin the journey home. Upon arrival in Perth, your driver will be waiting to transfer you home.
Think of Spain, straight away you envisage fabulous architecture, flamenco dancers, bull fighters, paella, cobbled streets and maybe even Rafael Nadal. Starting in Madrid and heading North you will encounter passionate local specialists that will bring Spain alive for you.
