Your holiday kicks off in Cape Town, a city where history and natural beauty converge. From exploring Robben Island and the vibrant Kirstenbosch Garden to experiencing the breathtaking views from Chapman’s Peak Drive and the iconic Cape Point Nature Reserve, Cape Town will captivate you with its charm and scenic wonders.
Your journey continues through the famous South African winelands, offering wine tastings in the picturesque towns of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Experience the thrill of African wildlife on game drives in the Kapama’s Game Reserve, where the Big Five and more await. Immerse yourself in the serenity of the bushveld and stay at the luxurious Kapama River Lodge. Whilst here enjoy 2 game drives per day, bush walks, all meals, snacks and a selection of wines and premium drinks.
Venture along the awe-inspiring Panorama Route, discover the geological wonders of Graskop, and stand in awe at the majestic Victoria Falls. A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $3750 per person is due within 7 days of making your booking to secure your reservation on the tour. This deposit guarantees your reservation on the tour and acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Tours are based on reaching a minimum number. Home pick-up and return is included based on a set radius – surcharges will apply outside these areas. Other special conditions may apply to each individual tour, please contact the office for further details.
A valid passport is required for this journey. Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your return to Australia.
A visa for Zimbabwe has to be obtained on arrival in Victoria Falls and the cost is US$45 per person.

Your holiday begins from when you are picked up from home by a private vehicle and transferred to the airport. Meet your Kings Tour Manager and fellow travellers then fly to Cape Town via Johannesburg. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Welcome to Africa! Tonight enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Hotel: Southern Sun Cullinan, Cape Town for 3 nights
This morning after breakfast for a Robben Island boat trip (weather permitting). Back on dry land you will have some time to purchase lunch at the waterfront then depart to the Kirstenbosch Garden. Nestled at the eastern foot of Table Mountain, it is renowned for its diverse collection of indigenous South African plants. The garden spans over 528 hectares and features a wide range of plant species, from fynbos to forest and succulent varieties. With our visit here complete we return to the hotel and freshen up dinner.
Today enjoy a full day of sightseeing including a Seal Island Boat cruise (weather permitting), Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape Point Nature Reserve and Boulders Beach and enjoy lunch at Berthas Restaurant. Returning to the hotel you will have some time to freshen up before dinner.
After breakfast complete check out procedures and depart for a discovery of the winelands. Visit Franschhoek, enjoy wine tasting and lunch at a wine farm in Franschhoek. After lunch, continue to Stellenbosch and discover the town in this wine region, later check your hotel where you have some free time for we enjoy some hotel wine tasting and dinner.

This morning we leave Stellenbosch and head back to Cape Town for our flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival into Hoedspruit we transfer to Beck Safari lodge which will be home for our next 3 nights. Becks Safari Lodge is a boutique safari lodge located in the heart of the South African bushveld, typically in the greater Kruger National Park area.
Hotel: Beck’s Safari Lodge for 3 nights
Start your day with an early morning wake-up call for an exhilarating game safari on the reserve. After your safari, return to the lodge to enjoy a hearty breakfast and some leisurely relaxation. Lunch will be served at the lodge, providing a perfect opportunity to unwind further. In the afternoon, embark on another exciting game drive, which will take you out into the bush once more. After sunset, return to the lodge for a delicious dinner, rounding off your day with a satisfying meal in the heart of the wilderness.
Begin your day with you last game drive on the reserve. After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. Following breakfast, complete your check-out procedures and then we head off to explore the Panorama Route. Enjoy breathtaking sights such as the Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and God’s Window. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Graskop before continuing to your hotel. Finish your day with dinner at the hotel.
Hotel: Angel’s View for 2 nights
Today enjoy a day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore the Graskop area.
This morning transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls (vis on arrival – additional cost). Upon arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. After the cruise, return to the hotel for dinner.
Hotel: Ilala Lodge for 3 nights
Today head to Botswana (don’t forget your passport) for a full day trip to Chobe National Park. Chobe is the most accessible and frequently visited of Botswana’s big game country, the Chobe Riverfront is most famous for its large herds of elephants and cape Buffalo, which during the dry winter months converge upon the river to drink. Predators are also seen and would include Lion, Leopard, Hyena and possibly Wild Dogs. At the interior of the park, Savuté boasts most of the Chobe species and it is best known for its predators, particularly lion, cheetah and hyena, of which there are large resident populations.
Start your day with a delightful breakfast served at the hotel, then embark on a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls, where you’ll experience the awe-inspiring beauty of one of the world’s largest waterfalls. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing lunch at the Look Out Café, offering stunning views of the falls. Return to the lodge for some leisure time, allowing you to unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures. In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner at The Boma, where you can savor a memorable meal in a vibrant, traditional setting, marking the perfect end to your holiday.
This morning we will check out of our hotel and fly home to Perth via Johannesburg. In Johannesburg you have the option to pay for the airport lounge during transiting. Upon arrival into Perth, your driver will be waiting to take you home.
