Itinerary

Day 1PERTH > ALBANY (LD)

Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by a private vehicle. You will be transferred to Kings Park where you will meet your Kings Tour Manager and fellow passengers. After stopping for morning tea in Mandurah and collecting our Mandurah clients, we start our journey to Albany. On route we have a lunch stop and then proceed to the motel for check in. You will have some time to settle in before enjoying our first dinner together.

Motel: Best Western The Clarence on Melville for 5 nights

Day 2ALBANY | TASTES OF THE GREAT SOUTH (BLD)

Today we have a great day out as we travel to Denmark. Savour hand-made cheese at Duckett’s Mill as well as wine, fudge and cold cuts. Luxuriate by the lake at award-winning The Lake House Denmark while blue wrens skitter around your lunch table and you share a local produce platter. Finish the day with a tour of Wilson’s Brewing Company on their ‘Grain to Glass Story’ tour. Compare the flavours of six beers on a tasting paddle. After a lovely day we head back to the motel to freshen up for dinner.

Day 3ALBANY | ALBANY HERITAGE (BD)

Albany’s heritage is rich and significant to Australia. This morning you will visit the National Anzac Centre on Mt Adelaide and to the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial on Mt Clarence. We will enjoy a delicious morning tea and then visit a few more iconic sites around the town. This afternoon we visit Daniel Radcliffe chainsaw wood art gallery. Tonight we enjoy dinner at the motel.

Day 4ALBANY | THE GAP AND TORNDIRRUP NATIONAL PARK (BD)

This morning will be at leisure to explore Albany and make last minute purchases. Enjoy lunch at a variety of cafes or restaurants (own expense) before boarding the bus mid-afternoon for a tour to The Gap and Torndirrup National Park. After our guided tour we arrive at Albany Windfarm to enjoy drinks and nibbles as the sunset before returning to the motel for dinner.

Day 5ALBANY | CHRISTMAS DAY (BLD)

Merry Christmas! Today we will enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings in the motel restaurant. We have organised a few games and surprises to make this day a light-hearted and festive day. For those still hungry a light dinner will be provided at the motel.

Day 6ALBANY > PERTH (BL)

After a leisurely breakfast, we pack our bags and begin the journey home, with a stop for lunch. After lunch we stop in Mandurah to farewell the Mandurah clients and then make our way up to Kings Park, our final destination. Upon arrival at Kings Park, your driver will be waiting to drive you home, ending a lovely Christmas break.
