Experience the enchanting beauty of Norfolk Island this holiday season with our exclusive tour followed by New Year’s Eve in Brisbane.  

Fly from Perth to Brisbane and kick off your adventure with a welcome dinner at the luxurious Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane.

Next, we’ll fly to Norfolk Island where you’ll spend 7 nights at the stunning Paradise Resort. Explore the island’s vibrant markets, historic settlements, and beautiful beaches while indulging in delicious meals at local restaurants.

Enjoy a Christmas feast with all the trimmings and embark on a convict settlement tour before diving into the marine life on a glass-bottom boat. Take a breakfast bushwalk, indulge in high tea, and savor a progressive dinner as you move from one island home to another.

On the last day, visit the awe-inspiring Cyclorama and indulge in Devonshire Tea at Hilli Restaurant. End your trip with an indulgence tour and spend the night as a “convict” in the island’s historic settlements.

Fly back to Brisbane where you’ll spend two-nights.  Take in breathtaking 360-degree views of the city from the iconic Wheel of Brisbane, explore the historic Meigunyah House Museum with a guided tour and indulge in a delicious lunch. Then head up to Mt Coot-tha for stunning views of Moreton Bay and the city before returning to the hotel to relax and freshen up for an early dinner. For those who want to kick off the New Year with a bang, there are early fireworks at Southbank

Tour Conditions

A deposit of $200pp is due to secure your booking.  Prior to final payment, if you change your mind and cancel from the tour, your deposit will held in suspense for you to use towards a future Kings Tour.

Tours are based on reaching a minimum number. Home pick-up and return is included based on a set radius – surcharges will apply outside these areas. Other special conditions may apply to each individual tour, please contact the office for further details.

A Passport is not required for Norfolk Island.

Day 1PERTH TO BRISBANE (D)

Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home and transferred to the airport in a private vehicle. Meet your fellow passengers and Kings Tour Manager then fly to Brisbane. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Settle in before enjoying a Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2BRISBANE TO NORFOLK ISLAND (BD)

This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to Norfolk Island. Upon arrival in Norfolk, we are met by a driver and transferred to the hotel. After a relaxing afternoon we enjoy will enjoy dinner at the hotel.

After dinner at the hotel, experience Wonderland by Night – The setting is in 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the ‘moon buggy’) a winding pathway with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas.

Day 3NORFOLK SIGHTS & BOUNTY FOLK MUSEUM (BD)

This morning we embark on a Sights Tour of Norfolk Island which is a must for every visitor! Visit historic Kingston (Capital of Norfolk Island), Cascade, Longridge and much more. See and hear about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches and golf course, the renowned Melanesian Chapel, Local Government, laws and lifestyle. After our sights tour, we visit the Bounty Folk Museum; a treasure chest of history, an Aladdin’s cave full of fantastic collections, excellent learning resources and inspiring information stretching back to 1788. It is a good place to visit early on your trip to gain valuable insights into local life.

Tonight we enjoy dinner at the Hilli Restaurant.

Day 4CHRISTMAS DAY (BLD)

MERRY CHRISTMAS. Enjoy a leisurely Christmas morning before indulging in Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings.

Day 5CONVICT SETTLEMENT TOUR | GLASS BOTTOM BOAT (BLD)

After our breakfast we embark on an ‘In Depth’ tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemetery and hear the history of interesting convicts and colonials’ headstones and listen to stories of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill.

This afternoon, Norfolk Islanders, Donald & George will share their knowledge of Norfolk Island’s unique marine life in a 1 hour glass bottom boat trip. View beautiful coral gardens and tropical fish inside the calm crystal waters of our lagoon.

Tonight we enjoy dinner at Govenors Lodge.

Day 6BREAKFAST BUSHWALK | HIGH TEA | PROGRESSIVE DINNER (BD)

This morning’s breakfast bushwalk caters for everyone and gives you opportunity to enjoy a walk in the great outdoors, with a delicious breakfast waiting at the end! However, if you would prefer to sleep in and skip the bush walk, but would like to have breakfast on the clifftop, you can join the walkers at Captain Cook Monument and share in the festivities.

This afternoon we will transfer to Bounty Bar & Grill to enjoy a delicious High Tea in the beautiful gardens of an old Island Home. Tonight enjoy a 3 course meal progressing to different Island homes.

Day 7PITCARN SETTLERS | CURIOUS CASTAWAYS | ISLAND FISH FRY | SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW (BD)

With breakfast complete we learn about the colourful history of Norfolk Island’s most recent settlement – the Pitcairners and their descendants on one of the last few remaining original settler’s properties. Experience the history and culture of the Pitcairn Settlers.

This afternoon, embark on a Curious Castaways tour, a curious tale of English Pirates & Polynesian Princesses. A quirky melding of two cultures which fashioned a new and very unique way of life. Learn the islands fascinating early Pitcairner history, Norf’k language, weaving & wetls – a traditional food tasting.

Late afternoon we head out to feast on a range of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts and tea/coffee. Finish the night off with the Norfolk Sound & Light Show.

Day 84WD TOUR | CYCLORAMA | NIGHT AS A CONVICT (BD)

This morning, take a 4wd tour takes you on a pioneering adventure to some of the many beautiful and secluded spots off the beaten track. Enjoy a delicious morning or afternoon tea at an island home where you will see a weaving demonstration using the islands local flax. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture some of the islands amazing scenery.

Visit the amazing 360° panoramic painting on Norfolk Island; The Cyclorama. It provides a total experience, bringing to life the history of the Norfolk Island people and their connection with the infamous mutiny on the ‘Bounty’.

We finish off our holiday on Norfolk Island tonight as we dress as a convict and join with the commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting and singing. Great food! Great fun! (Outfit supplied). This is the most popular feature dinner on Norfolk.

**Please note, the 4WD tour has to be split into two groups. While one group does it in the morning, the other group with visit the cyclorama and have morning tea.**

Day 9NORFOLK ISLAND TO BRISBANE (B)

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and free time before transferring to the airport for our flight to Brisbane. Arriving into Brisbane we are transferred through to our accommodation for the next 2 nights. The rest of the evening will be at leisure.

Day 10WHEEL OF BRISBANE | MEIGUNYAH HOUSE MUSEUM | MT COOT-THA (BD)

We have some local touring to enjoy today before bringing in 2024! Let’s start the day with spectacular views of Brisbane aboard the Wheel of Brisbane; it’s a fun way to soak up the scenic 360 degree view of the city. From here we visit Meigunyah House Museum for a guided tour of the historic house museum, including current displays and lunch. The objects on display in the house museum have a unique story of their own. Before returning to the hotel we head up Mt Coot-tha where the lookout offers excellent views over Moreton Bay and the city of Brisbane. We return to the hotel with some time to relax and freshen up before an early dinner in the hotel for tonight it is New Year’s Eve. For those who wish to see the fireworks there are early fireworks at 8.30pm on Southbank which isn’t too faraway.

DAY 11BRISBANE TO PERTH (B)

Happy New Year! Following breakfast and check-out procedures, we transfer to Brisbane Airport to board our flight to Perth. On arrival into Perth your driver will be waiting to transfer you home.
