A valid passport is required for this journey. Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your return to Australia.
A visa for India is required at an additional cost (approx. $40pp)
We understand that India is ‘different’. This is a small group experience and you will be very well looked after.
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home and transferred to the airport in a private car. Meet your Kings Tour Manager and fellow passengers then fly to Delhi via Singapore. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the hotel for immediate check-in.
Enjoy some time to relax and freshen up. Early afternoon, we take you out to visit a couple of must-see sights in Delhi. This evening, meet for a welcome briefing and dinner.
Hotel: Lalit New Delhi for 2 nights including early check in
Embark on a captivating exploration of Old and New Delhi including a rickshaw ride through bustling streets. Return to the hotel with the remainder of the day and night at your leisure.
After breakfast, drive to Agra and check into the hotel. Later, visit the Agra Fort, a historical fort in the city of Agra, also known as Agra’s red Fort, where the Mughal Emperor Humayan was crowned. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Hotel: Jaypee Palace for 1 night
Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of the Taj Mahal with a sunrise visit, a symbol of eternal love and architectural perfection. Witness the intricate craftsmanship of this masterpiece, crafted over 17 years by 20,000 artisans from around the globe. After the visit, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before journeying to Jaipur. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and enjoy a delightful dinner, immersing yourself in the vibrant culture of Rajasthan.
Hotel: The Hilton for 2 nights
Start your day at Hawa Mahal, then take a jeep to Amber Fort to explore its stunning interior, including Sheesh Mahal. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar observatory.
In the evening, connect with locals as you join an Indian family for dinner, participate in festive rituals, and learn to roll chapatis while discovering Indian cuisine.
This morning, depart Jaipur bound for Jodhpur. Lunch at a local restaurant en-route is included. On arrival in Jodhpur, dinner is included at the hotel.
Hotel: Fairfield by Marriott, Jodhpur for 2 nights (or similar)
Morning sightseeing of Jodhpur includes a visit to the 5 km long Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a 125m high hill. This is one of the most impressive and formidable structures in Rajasthan. Within the fort are some magnificent palaces and meticulously carved panels. Afterwards, take a Tuk tuk ride near the market in Jodhpur with free time to shop. Return to the hotel for dinner
Continue your Indian adventure with a journey to Narlai after breakfast at the hotel. Explore the vibrant village surroundings on a guided safari in an open jeep, immersing yourself in the colourful local life. As evening falls, enjoy a delightful dinner at the hotel or opt for a unique dining experience at a 16th-century step well near the manor. Illuminated by hundreds of flickering lamps, the step well creates a magical atmosphere, transporting you to a world of enchantment. Delight in a royal feast of delicacies as a local jogi serenades you with devotional folk songs, offering a truly unforgettable evening (additional cost).
Hotel: Rawla Narlai for 1 night
After breakfast, drive to beautiful Udaipur. En-route, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before some free time to relax. Later, take in the picturesque surroundings on a sunset exclusive boat ride on Lake Pichola. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Hotel: Fateh Niwas, Udaipur for 2 nights
This morning, a city tour visiting the City Palace, built in 1725 followed by the Jagdesh Temple. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the hotel before enjoying dinner.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit to the Garden of Maidens, built by Maharajas for their ladies. Afterwards transfer to Udaipur airport to begin our journey home via Delhi and Singapore. Upon arrival in Perth your driver will be waiting to take you home.
