Home pick-up and return by private car is included within a designated radius. Surcharges will apply for addresses located outside this area — please contact our office to confirm if this applies to you.

Manager before boarding your flight to Beijing. On arrival, we transfer to our hotel and settle in before enjoying a welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant.

This morning, step inside the magnificent Forbidden City, where grand palaces and priceless imperial treasures offer a
glimpse into the lives of China’s emperors and concubines. We continue to the Summer Palace to wander through its exquisite lakeside gardens, learn about imperial life, and enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Kunming Lake—an excellent way to minimise walking. Tonight, enjoy an authentic Peking Duck feast.
Today we travel to one of the world’s greatest architectural marvels—the Great Wall of China. After time to explore, we
continue to the historic Ming Tombs. Returning to Beijing, enjoy the afternoon at leisure before attending a spectacular
acrobatic show this evening.
This morning, we visit the Temple of Heaven, home to the extraordinary Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, constructed
entirely of timber without a single nail. Next, explore Beijing’s traditional Hutongs by rickshaw and visit a local family home. We then continue to Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in China.
After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight to Xi’an. On arrival, we visit the History Museum before checking in at our hotel to refresh. Tonight, enjoy a famous Dumpling Banquet followed by an impressive Tang Dynasty music and dance performance.

Today we explore one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological sites—the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Over 6,000 life-size figures stand guard over the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Golf buggies and Bluetooth commentary devices are included for comfort and ease. After lunch, we visit the Wild Goose Pagoda before returning to the hotel.
Our morning tour today takes us to the Square of Bell and Drum Tower. We also visit the Muslim Quarter and food market. This afternoon we transfer to the railway station for your high-speed train to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Tonight enjoy a delicious Sichuan hotpot.

A special morning awaits as we visit the Giant Panda Reserve to see these beloved creatures in an environment similar to their natural habitat. Golf buggies are included.
Today we board a high-speed train to Chongqing, China’s largest and most mountainous metropolis. After arrival, we explore Ciqikou Old Town and visit the General Stilwell Museum. Dinner is enjoyed at a local restaurant before we
embark on our Victoria cruise for the next three nights.
Cruise: Victoria Cruise (Anna) Standard Cabin for 3 nights
This morning, an optional excursion is available to Fengdu Ghost City (additional cost). In the afternoon we visit the impressive Shibao Pagoda. Return on board for the Captain’s Welcome Party and evening cabaret.
Optional morning visit to the White Emperor City (additional cost). After lunch, we sail through the dramatic Qutang and Wu Gorges before transferring to small rowboats for a scenic journey along the Shennong Stream. This evening, we pass through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks (conditions permitting).
After breakfast enjoy an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam. Early afternoon we disembark and transfer to the railway station to board a bullet train to the ancient capital of Nanjing. Settle in prior to dinner.
Hotel: Central Hotel Nanjing for 2 nights
Today we embark on a full day tour visiting the Dr Sun Yat San Mausoleum and surroundings, Nanjing Museum,Yangtze River Bridge, the ancient Ming Dynasty City Wall, Confucius Temple Market and Qinhuai River.
After breakfast, board a bullet train to Shanghai, travelling at speeds up to 350 km/h. On arrival we visit the Jade Buddha Temple before dinner. This evening, we ascend the Oriental Pearl Tower for breathtaking night views of the city.
Hotel: Sunrise On the Bund Shanghai for 2 nights
This morning, we visit the historic Bund, renowned for its stunning Art Deco architecture along the Huangpu River. We continue to the bustling Chenghuang Market and the tranquil Yu Garden before exploring the fashionable Xin Tian Di district. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner followed by a magical Huangpu River cruise.
You have a leisurely start to the morning before we transfer you to the airport for your flight home to Perth. Upon arrival into Perth (Day 17) your driver will be waiting to take you safely home.
