A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $400 per person is due within 7 days of making your booking to secure your reservation on the tour. This deposit guarantees your reservation on the tour and acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Tours are based on reaching a minimum number. Home pick-up and return is included based on a set radius – surcharges will apply outside these areas. Other special conditions may apply to each individual tour, please contact the office for further details.

All itineraries are subject to change due to occasional restrictions in opening times/days of some attractions, e.g. churches, wineries etc. We cannot be held responsible for any changes due to closures, inclement weather etc.

Itinerary

Day 1PERTH TO ADELAIDE (D)

Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home and transferred to the airport in a private car. Meet your Kings Tour Manager and fellow passengers and fly to Adelaide. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and settle in. Tonight, enjoy a delightful dinner at the hotel.

Day 2ADELAIDE TO THE FLINDERS RANGES (BLD)

Travel through the scenic Clare Valley to historic Bungaree Station, a working farm since 1841. Enjoy a guided tour led by a family member, exploring St Michael’s Church, the Station Store, and the Shearing Shed, where you’ll experience the excitement of past shearing days. After lunch, continue to Wilpena Pound Resort and take part in a Welcome to Country ceremony with Adnyamathanha staff, sharing traditional songs and stories of the landscape.

Day 3THE FLINDERS RANGES (BLD)

Join a local guide for an insider’s tour of the Flinders Ranges, exploring ancient gorges and learning stories from a Yura guide. Discover over 800 million years of geological history, enjoy panoramic views of Bunyeroo Valley, and visit some of the world’s oldest fossils. End the day with Sundowners at Pugilist Lookout, sipping drinks as the sun sets over this stunning landscape.

Day 4WILPENA POUND TO ARKAROOLA (BLD)

Travel deeper into the Flinders Ranges with a stop for lunch in Blinman, South Australia’s highest town. Continue to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary, known for its rugged landscapes and rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, watch the rare Yellow-Footed Rock Wallabies feed in their natural habitat. After dinner, enjoy an unforgettable night of stargazing, viewing the moon, Milky Way, and distant celestial wonders through astronomy binoculars, with Arkaroola’s pristine skies offering a perfect stargazing experience.

Day 5ARKAROOLA TOURING (BLD)

Embark on the thrilling 4WD Ridge Top Tour, navigating rugged mountain tracks to explore Crystal Candy Mountain, Mt Painter, and Sillers Lookout, with breathtaking views stretching over 80km to Lake Frome. After lunch, enjoy a scenic flight over Arkaroola Sanctuary, soaring above ancient seabeds, granite outcrops, and the Mawson Plateau. Along the way, hear fascinating commentary on the region’s geology and mining history. End the day with a relaxing dinner at the resort.

Day 6ARKAROOLA TO PORT AUGUSTA | PICHI RICHI RAILWAY (BLD)

Depart the Flinders Ranges and head to Parachilna for a unique fine dining experience at the Prairie Hotel, renowned for creative dishes featuring native and local produce. Continue to Port Augusta and explore the Wadlata Outback Centre, learning about outback history and culture through interactive displays. In the evening, visit Quorn for the captivating Silo Light Show, showcasing the heritage of the Flinders Ranges and Pichi Richi Railways. Enjoy dinner at the Great Northern Lodge before returning to your hotel.
