A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $400 per person is due within 7 days of making your booking to secure your reservation on the tour. This deposit guarantees your reservation on the tour and acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Tours are based on reaching a minimum number. Home pick-up and return is included based on a set radius – surcharges will apply outside these areas. Other special conditions may apply to each individual tour, please contact the office for further details.
All itineraries are subject to change due to occasional restrictions in opening times/days of some attractions, e.g. churches, wineries etc. We cannot be held responsible for any changes due to closures, inclement weather etc.
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home and transferred to the airport in a private vehicle. Meet your Kings Tour Manager and fellow passengers then fly to Hobart. Upon arrival into Hobart, we are transferred to our accommodation where we will spend the next 4 nights.
Start with a city tour of Hobart, including a scenic drive to the summit of Mt Wellington, offering spectacular views. Enjoy an elegant high tea at Hadley’s Orient Hotel, featuring delicate treats and fine teas. The evening is free to explore Hobart’s waterfront at your leisure.
Journey to the Tasman Peninsula, stopping at Doo Town, Tasman Arch, and Devils Kitchen before arriving at Port Arthur Historic Site. Explore the Visitor Interpretive Centre, take a guided tour through the penal settlement, and enjoy free time to wander the ruins. Return to Hobart for a special dinner at The Point Revolving Restaurant.
Travel north to Richmond, home to Australia’s oldest bridge and the Old Hobart Town Model Village. Continue to Ross, a charming Georgian town known for the Ross Bridge and historic Ross Female Factory. Arrive in Launceston and check in at the Hotel Grand Chancellor before enjoying dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.

Travel through rich countryside to Beauty Point, where we visit Platypus House and Seahorse World, offering a rare up-close look at these fascinating creatures. Enjoy lunch by the water before returning to Launceston for free time—perhaps a stroll through City Park, a heritage-listed garden dating back to the 1820s. Dinner will be at the hotel.
Today, we explore the countryside east of Launceston. Our journey begins with a photo stop at The Sideling Lookout before visiting the Springfield Tea Rooms, an Amish farm offering a unique morning tea. We then pass-through Scottsdale and visit the Legerwood Carved Memorial Trees, honouring WWI soldiers. After a lunch stop in Scottsdale, we tour Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm, known for its premium lavender products and scenic gardens. The evening is at leisure.
Enjoy a Cataract Gorge cruise, taking in Launceston’s history and scenic riverfront. Explore the gorge’s gardens or take an optional chairlift ride. After lunch, travel to Cradle Mountain, where we check in at Cradle Mountain Hotel for two nights. Tonight, enjoy dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.

Discover the beauty of Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park, including a visit to Waldheim Chalet and the scenic Enchanted Walk. Visit Devils @ Cradle, a conservation sanctuary for Tasmanian devils, before an afternoon at leisure to explore the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery or relax in the hotel’s surroundings. Tonight’s dinner is at the hotel.
Travel via the Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens, home to over 24,000 plants, before stopping in Sheffield, a town famous for its murals. In Evandale, admire well-preserved Georgian architecture before enjoying Devonshire Tea at Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce. Transfer to Launceston Airport for our flight home, with a private driver waiting upon arrival in Perth.
