Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by private vehicle and transferred to the airport. Meet your fellow travellers and Kings Tour Manager and fly to Kununurra. Upon arrival, we are transferred to our hotel where you have time to settle in before dinner as a group.

Today you have the opportunity to take an optional early morning scenic flight over the spectacular Bungle Bungle beehive domes (additional cost). Today we visit the sights in and around Kununurra including Mirima National Park (commonly known as Hidden Valley National Park and a mini version of the Bungle Bungle Range). The park has a great cultural significance to the local Miriwoong people and features intriguing natural rock formations. Afterwards we head to Kelly’s Knob Lookout for a view over the town before enjoying a free afternoon to relax and unwind. Optional dinner cruise available (additional cost).
This morning, cruise the Ord River from Kununurra to Lake Argyle on an exhilarating and educational boat journey where you will experience an abundance of wildlife and some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Kimberley. Tonight we enjoy dinner at the resort.

Today you will enjoy a Lake Argyle Island Lunch Cruise. Enjoy a commentary including the history of the area and you may meet the local wildlife. Stop at a remote island beach for a swim and enjoy a BBQ lunch. Later, dinner is included back at our hotel.
This morning we travel to El Questro Wilderness Park for a cruise on Chamberlain Gorge, a fresh waterhole fringed by tropical vegetation and 60 metre tall escarpments. This afternoon is free for you to relax and enjoy your surrounds. Maybe take a dip in the resort pool, lay back with a good book on your cabin’s verandah or if you have a high level fitness you might take the challenging hike to Emma Gorge for a dip in the crystal clear waterhole. Dinner tonight is at Emma’s Restaurant.

The sounds of Corellas and Kookaburras kick-start your morning as you enjoy a hearty breakfast at your bush lodgings. Today visit the Argyle Diamond Mine. Located at the traditional Barramundi Dreaming site at Barramundi Gap, it’s the world’s largest supplier of natural coloured diamonds. The mine has been operating since 1983 and has produced 800 million carats of rough diamond since! A local Indigenous guide will join you for an extensive behind the scenes look at the diamond mining process and cultural significance of the mine site. Continue south to the historic town of Halls Creek, situated on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. The town is rich in Aboriginal and European history and culture. Dinner is included at our hotel tonight.

We travel to the remote township of Fitzroy Crossing this morning, stopping en route to visit the Yarliyil Art Centre. Our visit will ‘Make a Difference’ to the centre’s efforts to promote and support local indigenous artists. This afternoon enjoy a beautiful boat cruise with a local guide through the remarkable Geikie Gorge. Discover how the gorge was formed by the waters of the Fitzroy River tunnelling through the Napier Range. You may see freshwater crocodiles, fruit bats and wallabies as the 30 metre high walls of the gorge tower above you.

Spectacular landscapes provide a beautiful backdrop for our drive to the former pearling outpost of Broome. On arrival, enjoy a Broome orientation tour which includes a visit to the Japanese Cemetery and nearby Gantheaume Point and hear stories of this famous pearling town. You can relax for the next two nights at Cable Beach Club which will offer you some of the best sunsets in Western Australia. So sit back and perhaps relax with a drink to watch the spectacular sunset over the ocean.

Today you have a full free day to explore this tropical hideaway. From a *scenic flight over the Horizontal Falls to*cruising through the unique horizontal falls on a boat (*not included in price.) there are many options for you to explore the area. You may enjoy a leisurely stroll along the 22 kilometres of pristine sand and turquoise water that is Cable Beach. Wander through Chinatown, shop for pearls or just relax at the resort.
This morning we enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then transfer to Broome Airport for our flight home to Perth. Upon arrival in Perth, your driver will be waiting to take you home.
