Tour Conditions

A deposit of $200 pp is due to secure your booking.  If the tour proceeds and prior to final payment you change your mind, your deposit will held in suspense for you to use towards another Kings Tour or transferred to another Kings Tour of your choice. 

If the tour is cancelled due to COVID, border restrictions or not meeting minimum numbers to proceed, your deposit will be refunded in full.  After final payment has been made, if the tour cannot proceed due to the above, the tours will be postponed to when it is safe to travel.

Tours are based on reaching a minimum number. Home pick-up and return is included based on a set radius – surcharges will apply outside these areas. Other special conditions may apply to each individual tour, please contact the office for further details.

A Passport is not required for Norfolk Island.

Itinerary

Day 1PERTH TO SYDNEY (IFM) (D)

Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home and transferred to the airport in a private vehicle. Meet your fellow passengers and Kings Tour Manager then fly to Sydney. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Settle in before enjoying dinner at the hotel.

Hotel: Radisson Blue, Sydney for 2 nights

Day 2SYDNEY | FREE DAY (B)

Enjoy today at your leisure. We have left this day free so that you can plan your own activities such as catching up with family or friends or you may like to book an optional tour from a list we can send you. Any optional tours for this day are at your own expense. You may also like to go shopping or stroll around the city.

Day 3SYDNEY TO NORFOLK ISLAND | WELCOME DINNER (BD)

This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to Norfolk Island. Upon arrival in Norfolk, we are transferred to the hotel. After a relaxing afternoon we enjoy liquor tasting in the hotel bar before dinner at the hotel.

Day 4NORFOLK SIGHTS TOUR | FREE AFTERNOON (BD)

This morning we embark on a Sights Tour of Norfolk Island which is a must for every visitor! Visit historic Kingston (Capital of Norfolk Island), Cascade, Longridge and much more. See and hear about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches and golf course, the renowned Melanesian Chapel, Local Government, laws and lifestyle.

Tonight, we enjoy dinner at Hilli Restaurant.

Day 5PITCAIRN SETTLERS | COLLEEN MCCULLOUGH’S HOME | SOUND & LIGHT SHOW (BD)

After breakfast we learn about the colourful history of Norfolk Island’s most recent settlement – the Pitcairners and their descendants, on one of the last few remaining original settler’s properties.

This afternoon we visit the world renowned author the late Colleen McCullough`s amazing majestic home on Norfolk Island. This is an exclusive guided tour to the author’s magnificent property. You will be escorted through Ric and Colleen’s home and view some of their priceless collections from around the world.

After dinner at the hotel, experience the sound and light show.

Day 6BREAKFAST BUSHWALK | HIGH TEA | PROGRESSIVE DINNER (BD)

This morning we take a bush walk to the Captain Cook monument for a delicious breakfast BBQ. For lunch, we head out to the magnificent cliff top lawns overlooking Cascade Bay and enjoy a high tea.

Tonight enjoy a 3 course meal progressing to different Island homes.

Day 7CONVICT SETTLEMENT TOUR | ISLAND FISH FRY (BD)

After our breakfast we embark on an ‘In Depth’ tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemetery and hear the history of interesting convicts and colonials’ headstones and listen to stories of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill. You will have a bit of free time in the afternoon before we head out to dinner late afternoon. Feast on a range of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts and tea/coffee

Day 8CYCLORAMA | CURIOUS CASTAWAYS | NIGHT AS A CONVICT (BD)

This morning we visit the home of Fletcher’s Mutiny Cyclorama, a 360° panoramic painting. Here we will also enjoy a beautiful Devonshire tea.

This afternoon you embark on a Curious Castawas tour, a curious tale of English Pirates & Polynesian Princesses. A quirky melding of two cultures which fashioned a new and very unique way of life. Learn the islands fascinating early Pitcairner history, Norf’k language, weaving & wetls – a traditional food tasting. . Tonight, dress as a convict and join with the commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting and singing. Great food! Great fun! (Outfit supplied). This is the most popular feature dinner on Norfolk.

Day 9FREE MORNING | NORFOLK INDULGENCE| WONDERLAND AT NIGHT (BD)

Enjoy the morning at your leisure. This afternoon we embark on an indulgence tour on the south-eastern side of Norfolk Island, at Ball Bay – just another stunning bay with magnificent ocean views! Here you will learn all about how we get fuel ashore, as this is where our supply is unloaded. We then move on to Steeles Point, to enjoy the sheltered valleys behind the coastal cliffs. You may even spot a White Fairy Tern nesting in the forest! From here, we head to the Captain Cook Monument, a scenic lookout where you will stand at the spot on the northern coast where Captain James Cook and his officers landed in 1774. It has some of the best sea views on the Island, with offshore rock formations like Bird Rock and Elephant Rock. We will finish the day the way all fantastic days should end with wine, cheese & crackers on Mount Pitt. The Lookout gives a 360° view of the whole island, so it will be a picnic to remember.

After dinner at the hotel, experience Wonderland by Night – The setting is in 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the ‘moon buggy’) a winding pathway with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas.

Day 10SUNDAY MARKETS | NORFOLK – SYDNEY – PERTH (B) (IFM)

This morning there is an opportunity to go to the Sunday Markets and afterwards, enjoy a wander around the township. Early afternoon, we are transferred to the airport to board our flight to Perth via Sydney. Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting to take you safely home.
