After breakfast, we head to Suntec City for the much-anticipated Singapore Garden Festival. Explore award-winning show gardens, immersive floral displays, and innovative exhibits that highlight the finest in international horticultural design. In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time at the hotel. Return to the hotel mid-afternoon for a rest before dinner at a nice restaurant this evening.
This morning, visit the UNESCO-listed Singapore Botanic Gardens, a peaceful haven of tropical flora, sculpture-dotted walkways, and themed gardens. We then explore the National Orchid Garden, home to over 60,000 orchid plants, including the national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Halia Restaurant; nestled within the lush Singapore Botanic Gardens before returning to the hotel. Tonight your evening is at leisure. You may wish to join your Tour Manager (own expense) for dinner at Lau Pa Sat, a famous open-air hawker market.
You will have most of the day at your leisure. In the late afternoon be picked up by the guide and driver at the hotel and transfer to Singapore’s National Garden – Gardens by the Bay, featuring the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest cooled conservatories. The Flower Dome replicates the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions in South Africa, California, Spain and Italy with unique plants like the Baobab trees, the Madagascar Ghost Tree, and the 1000-year-old Olive tree. Enjoy a changing display of vibrant plants and blooms. Then, continue to the Cloud Forest and be awed by an impressive 35-metre-tall indoor waterfall amidst the lush vegetation and tropical epiphytes. After the sun sets, this evening Gardens by Display experience wraps up with a memorable treat. Witness the magical ‘Garden Rhapsody’ show where the lights of the Supertrees pulse in time with a curated playlist of Tunes. Return to hotel after the show.
After breakfast, visit Bird Paradise, Asia’s largest bird park. Delight in seeing the playful penguins and elegant flamingos before relaxing with a refreshing cold drink at the Crimson Restaurant. After returning to the hotel, enjoy a leisurely afternoon before an early evening pick-up for dinner at Flutes, an award-winning restaurant known for its modern European cuisine and elegant ambiance. After dinner, embark on a bumboat cruise along the Singapore River to enjoy the city’s stunning night views and the Spectra Show. After the cruise, enjoy some free time before returning to the hotel.
On your final day in Singapore, we visit the charming district of Joo Chiat, where you’ll experience the traditional art of Popiah making. For over 80 years, this family-run business has been creating popiah skins using a recipe passed down through generations. On your journey to Joo Chiat, you’ll also pass by the historic Peranakan houses and quaint shops. After this cultural experience, head to Jewel Canopy at Singapore Airport to marvel at the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex. From here, we transfer to the airport for your flight back to Perth, where your driver will be waiting to take you home.
