This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to Norfolk Island. Upon arrival in Norfolk, we are met by a driver from Pinetree Tours and will be transferred to the hotel. Tonight we enjoy dinner at the hotel, where we dress as convicts and join with the commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting and singing. Great food! Great fun! (outfit supplied). This is the most popular feature dinner on Norfolk.

After breakfast we visit the home of Fletcher’s Mutiny Cyclorama, a 360° panoramic painting. Here we will also enjoy a beautiful Devonshire tea. In the afternoon we will go on a Sights Tour of Norfolk Island which is a must for every visitor! Visit historic Kingston (Capital of Norfolk Island), Cascade, Longridge and much more. See and hear about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches and golf course, the renowned Melanesian Chapel, Local Government, laws and lifestyle. Tonight after dinner we experience a Sound and Light Show.
This morning there is an opportunity to go to the Sunday Markets and afterwards, enjoy a wander around the township. In the afternoon join us on an ‘In Depth’ tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemetery and hear the history of interesting convicts and colonials’ headstones and listen to stories of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill. Tonight, you will enjoy a two-course dinner and a unique chance to experience the Norfolk language, hear some Island drumming and learn about our weaving and bone carving which has been passed down to each generation. Learn about Tahitian dancing taught to you by a true descendant of Fletcher Christian and Maimiti.
After breakfast we learn about the colourful history of Norfolk Island’s most recent settlement – the Pitcairners and their descendants, on one of the last few remaining original settler’s properties. Experience the history and culture of the Pitcairn Settlers. This afternoon half the group will enjoy a 4WD drive while the other half enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Before dinner you will enjoy liquor tasting. After dinner, experience Wonderland by Night – The setting is in 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the ‘moon buggy’) a winding pathway with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas.
Today we take you to a selection of the many other enterprises that sustain the community. These might include: raising meat producing sheep, market gardening, pig farming, aquaponics gardening or exporting Kentia seedlings. This afternoon half the group will enjoy a 4WD drive while the other half enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Tonight dinner will be served in the hotel.
This morning we take a bush walk to the Captain Cook monument for a delicious breakfast BBQ. This afternoon, witness the culture of their forebears. From the mutineer ancestors and their Tahitian wives came the arts of wood craft, weaving, cooking and the Norfolk language. Tonight, enjoy a 3 course meal progressing to different Island homes.
After breakfast enjoy a tour featuring some of the Island’s loveliest gardens. Throughout the morning we visit nurseries owned and operated by young Norfolk Islanders. Tonight, dinner will be enjoyed at the hotel. Late afternoon enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts and tea/coffee. Enjoy some local entertainment on Norfolk’s Beautiful Puppy’s Point. Tonight, see descendants of the mutineers bring the story of the famed ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’ and historic events to life in a 90 minute show performed in an outdoor amphitheatre on Norfolk’s western coastline.
After breakfast, we visit the world renowned author, the late Colleen McCullough’s, amazing majestic home on Norfolk Island. This is an exclusive guided tour to the author’s magnificent property. We return to the hotel where we have some free time before we are transferred to the airport to board our flight to Perth via Sydney. Upon arrival in Perth, your driver will be waiting to take you safely home.
