The Swan Valley is the oldest wine region in Western Australia and second oldest in Australia, a rural escape located just 25 minutes drive from the bustling Perth city centre. Today you’re in for a treat as we take you on a Sweet Temptations Trail, sampling pure honey sourced straight from the hive, scrumptious nougat, handmade chocolate and a delightful lunch with view over the vineyard.
Payment for day tours are due within 7 days.
Depart Elizabeth Quay at 9:30am and head out of the city towards Guildford and Caversham and into the Swan Valley. Our first stop is at The House of Honey. They specialise in raw, pure, unpasteurised and unadulterated varietal honeys which you can sample a few. Next is Mondo Nougat and Morish Nuts which make good neighbours! Using locally sourced products where possible, Mondi Nougat gives the traditional Italian recipe an Australian twist. Morish Nuts has been operating for over 20 years and you can sample their signature caramel coated variety crafted from a secret family recipe.
Now that we’ve got our taste buds whirling, we continue to Sittella Winery. In this tranquil setting with valley and vineyard views from the verandah, enjoy a two course lunch.
Our last stop is at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory before returning to Elizabeth Quay at approximately 4pm.
