After being picked up from home, you’ll be flown to Broome where you’ll begin your tour, taking you through to Darwin. Highlights along the way include Geike Gorge, El Questro and the Ord River. After these 12 wonderful days, you’ll have a couple of nights in Darwin before embarking a luxury cruise along the Kimberley Coast back to Broome. There is no better way to see the north of WA.
Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by a private vehicle and transferred to the airport and fly to Broome. On arrival be transferred from the airport to your hotel and explore this historic pearling town. Tonight enjoy dinner in the hotel.

Today is yours to spend at leisure. Perhaps go for a stroll through town, head to the striking red rock faces of Gantheaume Point, or take a sunset camel ride along Cable Beach (own expense).
Today you will leave the coast behind and head inland to the beautiful and remote township of Fitzroy Crossing.

After breakfast, cruise the stunning Geikie Gorge, where flooding has had an unusual effect on the limestone walls. Then, journey to Halls Creek.

Tour Lirrgarn Argyle Diamond Mine, then journey through the heart of the Kimberley to El Questro Wilderness Park. Stay at Emma Gorge Resort in El Questro Wilderness Park.

Visit the natural thermal pools of Zebedee Springs and take a relaxing dip. Then, enjoy a guided cruise along stunning Chamberlain Gorge. Later, perhaps walk into Emma Gorge to swim under the beautiful droplet waterfall. A Taste of Western Australia – tonight, savour a delicious home-style dinner beneath a blanket of stars.
Today you will set off and travel through beautiful landscapes along the Gibb River Road. Arrive in Lake Argyle where you will join a wildlife cruise on the Ord River and discover its fascinating ecological system.

This morning you will depart Kununurra, and go through Timber Creek en route to Katherine.

Today you will enjoy a cruise through the stunning Katherine Gorge. Then, visit Adelaide River and the sombre Australian war cemetery en route to Darwin. Later, enjoy dinner with your fellow travellers.

This morning, board your ship. Set sail and cross the vast Cambridge Gulf before journeying into West Australian waters. Later, meet your friendly crew at the Captain’s Welcome Drinks.
Cruise: The Coral Adventurer for 10 nights
Jump aboard the Explorer and discover rugged gorges carved by the force of the mighty King George River. Board the Zodiacs and cruise to the base of magnificent King George Falls. Towering 80 metres above the water below, the twin falls are one of the Kimberley’s most spectacular attractions. Later, explore the beautiful beach and luscious green landscape at Tranquil Bay.
Be guided across salt flats at Vansittart Bay to view the wreckage of a US Air Force DC3, which crashed on the beach during World War II. Later, guest lecturers will guide you through Jar Island’s rock art, including the mysterious Bradshaw paintings, dating back some 20,000 years.
After anchoring in Winyalken Bay, travel ashore and explore the maze of natural sandstone caves of Hathaway’s Hideaway. This evening, pull up a chair and watch as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean while you savour a delicious gourmet Australian beach barbecue.
Visit Bigge Island’s ancient Wandjina and Bradshaw rock art. Spend some time at leisure wandering Careening Bay. Then, with a knowledgeable guide, you’ll journey to the site of the iconic boab tree engraved with ‘HMC Mermaid 1820’, miraculously visible almost 200 years on.
Aboard the Explorer, cruise the Prince Regent River. Admire the breathtaking King Cascades, an unusual terraced waterfall. Then, enjoy a picnic lunch at beautiful Camp Creek where you might like to take a refreshing dip.
Today you’ll experience a truly magical moment when Montgomery Reef rises out of the ocean as the tide recedes. Discover the reef’s diverse marine-life including turtles, manta rays and reef sharks. Later, cruise through scenic Doubtful Bay, where rugged cliffs rise from the sea.
Cruise Kuri Bay, home of the south sea pearl industry. Board the Explorer and travel to striking Raft Point, where you’ll see ancient Wandjina rock art and some of the Kimberley’s most well-preserved Bradshaw paintings. Later, explore Red Cone Creek and cool down with a swim in Ruby Falls.
Travel through the Buccaneer Archipelago to Talbot Bay and see the incredible Horizontal Falls. When the 12-metre tide turns, strong currents rush through two narrow coastal gorges, creating a cascade effect. Board the Zodiacs for a ride through the falls. Later, enjoy pristine waters at Silica Beach.
Visit the Lacepede Islands (subject to conditions). Tonight, enjoy the Captain’s Farewell Drinks.
This morning your cruise ends and you will be transferred to Broome Airport for your flight home to Perth. Upon arrival into Perth your driver will be waiting to take you safely home.
