Your holiday begins when you are picked up from home by a private vehicle. You will be transferred to Kings Park where you will meet your Kings Tour Manager, fellow passengers and coach driver. Heading east out of Perth we stop at Tanglefoot Winery and enjoy morning tea. From here we head to Wickepin. On arrival we have time to explore the Homestead of Albert Facey. A visit to the Albert Facey Homestead gives a unique insight into the life of the author of `A Fortunate Life’ in the early 1900s. Facey lived with his family in this house until the Great Depression. As you wander through the rooms you will have the opportunity to see Facey’s own furniture and personal effects. The homestead forms part of the Albert Facey Heritage Trail that leads you through Wickepin and surrounding areas to discover more about the life of this literary genius. Allowing half a day to complete the drive will provide you with plenty of time to explore various significant places in Facey’s childhood. Before leaving for the next town of Wagin we enjoy a picnic lunch in the Park. On arrival in Wagin we view the giant ram and enjoy time to explore the historical village with afternoon tea and damper to end. Back onboard we head to the town of Katanning which is our final stop for the day. You will have some time to freshen up before enjoying our first dinner together.

After breakfast you have some free time to explore the town of Katanning and find walls painted by local artists. Leaving Katanning we make our way to Pingrup to view our first silo and morning tea. From, here we head to the town of Newdegate to view the second silo before making our way to Lake Grace. Here we view the lake and enjoy lunch at Walkers Hill Vineyard. After lunch we make our way to Hyden via Kulin to drive along the Tin Horse Highway. The Tin Horse Highway is a laughing matter! The dusty paddocks surrounding Kulin have become a gallery of bright, quirky, community creations. On arrival in Hyden we visit wave rock and the pioneer town and museum before heading to the motel to check in and enjoy dinner.

This morning we make our way to Merredin. On arrival we enjoy Morning Melodies at the historic Cummins Theatre. Meet some locals as you chat over morning tea then sit back and enjoy a concert. After the concert we have some free time to purchase lunch (own expense) and visit the Military and Railway Museum. Leaving Merredin we view the silo before continuing onto Northam. On arrival into Northam we check in to the hotel and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast visit the last silo on the trip just outside of Northam and then continue to Toodyay. On arrival in Toodyay embark on a guided heritage walk and visit the old mill. Next we head to the oldest inland townin Western Australia, York. Here we enjoy a final pub lunch together. After lunch we hear from a local about the historic town. After our time in York we reboard the coach and make our way back to Kings Park where we started our journey. On arrival at Kings Park your driver will be waiting to take you safely home.
