Your holiday begins with a private transfer from your home to the airport, where you’ll board your flight to Cairns—the gateway to Far North Queensland. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to the elegant Crystalbrook Riley Resort, your home for the next seven nights. Settle in before enjoying dinner at Dundee’s Waterfront Restaurant.

One of the “must do” tours in Cairns is a ride on the historic Kuranda Train for the spectacular ride to the famous, tropical plant clad Kuranda Station. The train journey takes us through the magnificent Barron Falls National Park. Highlights of the ride are picturesque valleys, jungles, railway bridges, tunnels built over a century ago and the Barron Falls themselves. Perched above Cairns on the top of the Range and surrounded by World Heritage Listed Rain Forest is the village of Kuranda. The town is full of arts and craft shops, and we have plenty of time to explore the village and purchase lunch. Returning to Cairns with the evening at your leisure.
Today, we journey to Mossman Gorge, located just north of Cairns. We drive through the beautiful Palm Cove before reaching Mossman Gorge. Upon arrival, enjoy a culturally enriching Dreamtime Walk with an Indigenous guide, where you’ll participate in a traditional ‘smoking’ ceremony, cleansing and purifying the group. As you meander through the rainforest, learn about traditional plant use and bush foods. Your guide will share insights into the deep connection the Indigenous people have with this unique environment. After the walk, treat yourself to traditional bush tea and damper. Next, we travel to the charming town of Port Douglas, where you’ll have free time to wander and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Return to Cairns with the evening free to relax or explore.
Start your day with a visit to Hartley’s Crocodile Farm, where you’ll embark on a guided lagoon cruise to learn about the fascinating world of crocodiles. Watch as these ancient reptiles are fed and learn about their vital role in the ecosystem. After an exciting and educational experience, enjoy a delicious lunch at the farm’s restaurant, set amidst the tropical surroundings. Afterward, return to the resort for some leisure time. Later in the day, treat yourself to a delightful dinner at Flynn’s Italian Restaurant, known for its exceptional Italian cuisine and warm ambiance.
Today, we explore the lush Atherton Tablelands, starting with a visit to Jaques Coffee Plantation, where you’ll learn about the coffee production process and enjoy a ride on the Coffee Bean Machine. Savor a coffee tasting before we continue to the majestic Curtain Fig Tree, one of the region’s most iconic natural wonders. Next, we head to Lake Barrine for a relaxing scenic lunch followed by a tranquil boat cruise around the lake, taking in the peaceful surroundings. Our final stop is Gallo Dairyland, where you’ll discover the art of cheese-making and indulge in local cheese tastings. After a fulfilling day of exploration, return to your resort for an evening at your leisure.
Today, we head south to the enchanting Paronella Park, a heritage-listed site famous for its lush gardens and historic ruins. Take a guided tour through the park, discovering the fascinating history of the Spanish-inspired castle and its unique surroundings. Afterward, enjoy a light lunch at the park before returning to Cairns. In the evening, experience a relaxing dinner cruise on Trinity Inlet, where you’ll dine on a buffet of local delicacies, including fresh seafood, while enjoying live entertainment and panoramic views of the waterfront.
