A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is due within 7 days of making your booking to secure your reservation on the tour. This deposit guarantees your reservation on the tour and acceptance of our terms and conditions. 

Tours are based on reaching a minimum number. Home pick-up and return is included based on a set radius – surcharges will apply outside these areas. Other special conditions may apply to each individual tour, please contact the office for further details.

All itineraries are subject to change due to occasional restrictions in opening times/days of some attractions, e.g. churches, wineries etc. We cannot be held responsible for any changes due to closures, inclement weather etc.

 

Itinerary

Day 1 PERTH TO MELBOURNE (D)

Your holiday begins when you are collected from home and transferred to Perth Airport by private vehicle. Meet your Kings Tour Manager and fellow travellers and board your flight to Melbourne. Upon arrival, transfer to. The Crowne Plaza. Enjoy dinner at a Melbourne Restaurant.

Day 2MELBOURNE FLOWER SHOW & HIGH TEA (BHT)

Visit the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, featuring stunning gardens, floral displays, and home design exhibits. Enjoy a High Tea in the VIP marquee before a relaxed evening at leisure.

Day 3COMO HOUSE & CITY TOUR (BD)

This morning we embark on a city tour before making our way to Como House and Garden. Built in 1847, Como House is an unusual mix of Australian Regency and classic Italianate architecture. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure before dinner at a Melbourne Restaurant.

Day 4MELBOURNE TO BENDIGO (BL)

Travel to Bendigo via Woodend and Kyneton. Upon arrival into Bendigo enjoy lunch at the Shamrock Hotel before check-in. This afternoon enjoy a tour of the Bendigo Town.

The Craig’s Royal Hotel is a beautifully restored 19th-century landmark steeped in gold rush history and charm.

Day 5BENDIGO (BD)

This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Central Deborah Mine and learn about Bendigo’s gold mining history. Afterwards, take a Talking Tram tour to see some of the city’s key sights and attractions. There will be free time to explore Bendigo and purchase lunch at your leisure. This afternoon, visit the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion for a guided tour before enjoying dinner at the Lakeside Restaurant this evening.

Day 6BENDIGO (BL)

This morning, travel to Maldon, Australia’s first “Notable Town,” where you can admire its beautifully preserved 19th-century streetscape and historic buildings. Continue to Lavandula for lunch, followed by a guided tour of the property and its gardens. Later, visit Daylesford and enjoy time to stroll through the town’s charming streets, browse local shops, and soak up the relaxed atmosphere. Optional Ghost Tour

Day 7 BENDIGO TO BALLARAT (BLD)

Today begins with a visit to the historic Eureka Stockade, where you’ll learn about one of Australia’s most significant events. Continue to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens to view the stunning Begonia Display, a colourful showcase that has become a local favourite. Enjoy lunch at Pipers before checking in to the iconic Craig’s Royal Hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to relax or explore Ballarat at your own pace. Tonight enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 8 BALLARAT (BD)

This morning, visit Creswick Woollen Mills to learn about the history and craftsmanship behind one of Australia’s best-known woollen producers. Return to Ballarat for a tram ride through the city, offering a different perspective on its historic streets and landmarks. There will then be free time to explore Ballarat at your own pace, browse local shops or relax before gathering for a farewell dinner at The Boatshed to celebrate the conclusion of your tour.

Day 9MELBOURNE TO PERTH (B)

After breakfast, we farewell Ballarat and return to Melbourne Airport for your flight home. Upon arrival in Perth, enjoy a private car transfer back to your home.
